James Spielman leads David Langdon’s Strategic Development Services Group and has experience in a variety of roles within the built environment. This experience includes working as a project manager for a general contractor on a number of large and technically complex projects, such as co-location facilities, clean room complexes, and corporate campuses. Later as a construction cost planner, James provided services at all stages of design and construction. As a leader of the Strategic Development Services group, James has been expanding Davis Langdon’s core expertise, creating additional tools to enable clients to make more informed decisions.
Mr. Spielman’s project experience includes the Maritime Museum in San Francisco; Children’s Hospital in Oakland, California; the Housing complex at the University of California, San Francisco Mission Bay; the San Francisco Federal Building; the Sybase Corporate Headquarters in Dublin, California; and COLO.COM’s Co-Location Facility in San Francisco/ San Jose, California.
Mr. Spielman has an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Construction Engineering Management from Oregon State University. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders and the U.S. Green Building Council.
